Chimwemwe mu'bereki is the implementing sister organisation to US-based African Mothers Health Initiative. We provide home-based nursing care to high-risk infants and critically sick postpartum women in Malawi. We started this work over 15 years ago to fill a gap in the healthcare system. To date we have served over 1700 infants and 550 women. For every US$1500 donated we are able to avert one death. Unfortunately there continues to be a need for our services. Please consider partnering with us to work towards improved maternal and child health in Malawi.
